The Commanders created a pair of roster slots Monday, and filled them Tuesday morning.

Before the start of the three-day minicamp, Justin Hamilton, defensive tackle, and Willie Beavers are signed with the team. On Monday, kicker Brian Johnson and defensive back Will Allen were both waived.

Hamilton was a Cowboys player in 19 games over the past two seasons, and he also recorded 20 tackles. Hamilton has seen regular season play for the Eagles and Chiefs. As he pushes for a new contract, he'll likely be replaced by Daron Payne.

The Vikings selected Beavers in the fourth round of 2016. He played only two regular-season games during his rookie year. Since leaving Minnesota, he has been with many teams and was most recently released by the Falcons.
