Colorado police have located and are looking for a suspect in a shooting at a church that left one person dead and two others hurt .

Police in Aurora said that Jose De Jesus Montoya Villa was under arrest for first-degree murder.

Police say Montoya Villa (31), is accused of lighting fire in Iglesia Faro de Luz Friday night, while around 20 people were there for an event.

On the spot, a 36-year old woman was declared dead. Two wounded men, a 40-year old man and a 42 year-old man were taken to hospital. They are expected to survive.

Police said that a fourth adult was taken to the hospital for medical reasons.

They have not been named.

Police claim that Montoya Villa has a close relationship with one of the victims.

Police want anyone with information about Montoya Villa to get in touch with law enforcement.
