Church leader: Pope warns priests against porn: "This is how the devil enters"

Pope Francis has warned against pornography. "This is a sin imposed on many people, lay people, priests and religious sisters," the Catholic Church leader said during a meeting with seminarians and priests in Rome on Wednesday. "This is how the devil enters," warned the 85-year-old Argentine. Francis emphasized that he was not only talking about "criminal pornography", such as that involving child abuse, but also about "somewhat normal pornography".

The pope warned churchmen studying in Rome to beware of pornography. "The pure heart that Jesus receives every day must not receive such pornographic information." If men could erase something like this on their cellphones, then they should do so so as not to hold the temptation in their hands. "I tell you, this is a thing that weakens the spirit," the pontiff went on to explain.
