Castilla-La Mancha will have 103 new pharmacies

The president of Castilla-La Mancha, Emiliano García-Page, has advanced that his Government has authorized this Wednesday the installation of 103 new pharmacies in the territory of the Autonomous Community.

From an act in the Ciudad Real town of Manzanares, García-Page has estimated that with this action it will be possible to provide service to many areas of the region that are in full expansion and have absorbed a large population in recent years.

After 15 years without authorizing facilities of this type, he has indicated that a measure of this type is necessary to serve a society that "claims pharmacies as supermarkets."

This measure will alleviate the "absolute lack" in certain areas such as the surroundings of Madrid in the provinces of Toledo and Guadalajara.

In addition, as estimated, up to 400 direct jobs can be created once the hundred new pharmacy offices are installed.
