The Government of Castilla-La Mancha will award on May 31, on the occasion of the Day of the Region, the Gold Medal of the autonomous community to the model and businesswoman Eugenia Silva and the writer and journalist Ángela Vallvey.

This was announced by the Minister of Equality and spokesperson for the regional government, Blanca Fernández, during the press conference to report on the distinctions and recognitions of Castilla-La Mancha Day 2022 approved by the Governing Council.

This day, which will be held in Puertollano, the regional government will deliver 32 awards and distinctions, "more than any other year and all of them well deserved", a fact that also coincides with the 40th anniversary of the Statute of Autonomy of Castilla-La Mancha .
