These rescuers are superheroes—literally. Disguised as "Power Rangers", several restaurant employees in Oakland (California, USA) managed to flee a man. He had previously threatened and rioted a woman. The police later arrested him. On top of that, the restaurant was still generous - with all the guests present.

What sounds like a weird fever dream really happened in Oakland, California. Eight employees of the Japanese soup restaurant "Noka Ramen" were serving dishes to their customers when a man threatened a woman and put a stranglehold on her. The terrified woman went to the restaurant for help - and found it in the determined waiters dressed in superhero Power Rangers costumes.

When two employees asked the man to leave the woman alone and leave the restaurant, the man turned his aggression on the costumed waiters. Meanwhile, the woman was able to get to safety in the kitchen. With combined forces, the restaurant staff referred the racket from the store. Although he came back later with another man, the police finally took the rioter into custody.

"Power Rangers" is a US television series from the 90s, there are now 28 seasons and three films. As a tribute to the superheroes, staff at Noka Ramen serve in matching costumes.

The incident became known through a Twitter user who was eating in the restaurant at the same time. Meals were on the house for them and all other visitors present.
