Cadillac: An operation to save honeybees

The Rotary club Cadillac was launched as part of the seventh axis in Rotary International. It is the protection of our environment.

Rotarians were able to sell as many roses that they could from a partner in order for them to fund the purchase of beehives and insect hotels. The Rotary District 1690 covers the area of New Aquitaine. It has achieved excellent results. The extraordinary sale of almost 5,000 rosebushes for an amount exceeding 80,000 euros made it possible to place 700 hives, 250 traps for hornets, and 3,500 insects hotels in the entire district.
