The president of the Diputación de Toledo, Álvaro Gutiérrez, has learned of the intention of the municipality of Cabañas de Yepes, belonging to the region of Ocaña, to build a passable fountain in the Plaza de la Constitución for the enjoyment of all citizens.

This was explained by the mayor of Cabañas de Yepes, Jorge Ignacio Ors Sánchez, at the meeting held at the Provincial Council, where he conveyed the desire to create this infrastructure in the town, integrated into the public place chosen for its location, and offer the entire population, and especially the youngest, the possibility of playing and cooling off in summer.

To achieve this goal, the mayor asked Álvaro Gutiérrez to combine two annuities of the investment programs of the Toledo Provincial Council, to complete a work designed so that the water rises vertically through 9 jets, reaching different heights and whose glass is below ground level, so it allows transit on it.

Ors highlighted the advantages of this type of fountains, since they do not occupy physical space in the place where they are installed, they improve the conditions for their conservation and allow a perfect integration in the environment, being able to enjoy them while they are running and from a walkable space when the source is off.

The mayor of Cabañas de Yepes also informed the president of the purchase of a property by the City Council to improve the movement of people in the municipality, to open a new street that joins the Mayor and Villafranca de Bustos streets.

A pum track track in the sports center, which is a closed circuit of asphalt, earth or wood with banked curves, mounds or speed bumps and jumps, intended for bicycles, but also for skateboards, skates or elements that have wheels without a motor, is another of the Cabañas de Yepes projects.
