BVB: Terzic on the timetable at Reus - worried about Wolf

Borussia Dortmund still has to do without Marco Reus. Edin Terzic has now explained the timetable for the captain's return. Meanwhile, there are also concerns about Marius Wolf.

After the injury in the derby in mid-September, in which he tore the outer ligament in his ankle, Marco Reus is not really fit. A little over two weeks ago he was supposed to get back into action against Union Berlin. It quickly became clear: the game came too early for the 33-year-old. Since then he fell out again for the time being.

He missed four more games after the setback. The duel with FC Copenhagen on Wednesday evening, which is no longer important in terms of sport, will also be added.

"He's not there today, but he won't be gone for long," Sebastian Kehl said.

In addition, Edin Terzic now explained how Reus is planned for the future. At the press conference before the duel in the premier class, he said (via Ruhr Nachrichten): "Marco has trained completely, but it wasn't enough for Copenhagen. He will now work in Dortmund for two days, and then again with us on Thursday."

The coach said the "big goal" was for the captain to "be available again on Saturday against Bochum". It is still unclear whether he will then be back in the starting eleven and will have to reckon with a comparatively early substitution to keep the risk as small as possible, or whether he will be substituted on during the game.

However, a deployment over the full 90 minutes seems quite unlikely. Especially since black and yellow should be able to win the game against VfL without him.

However, Reus is not the only Dortmunder to worry about. While Tom Rothe will probably no longer be available until the World Cup break, Marius Wolf could suffer the same fate.

"With Marius there are always days when he feels unwell and weak. We will investigate that, he should recover now," said Terzic about the winger. Last weekend he was still on the pitch for about 20 minutes. Shortly before, he dropped out with an infection and circulatory problems.
