CSU General Secretary Martin Huber says that an approach like that of the traffic light government in the electoral law reform is otherwise only known from rogue states. Is he right? The CSU fired amazingly sharply. That doesn't do it justice, because one thing has to be considered: There are many good voting systems, but none of them fulfills all wishes at the same time. The CSU is doing itself and democracy a disservice with such formulations - especially in times of Bolsonaro and Trump.
