A Braunschweig educator has been arrested on suspicion of sexual abuse. The mother of an almost four-year-old boy filed a complaint with the police on Saturday, officials said. According to Tuesday's information, there is a suspicion that the 64-year-old sexually abused the boy in the daycare center.

The alleged perpetrator is now free again, but the suspicion still exists, it said. The accused was released from his employer and is currently no longer working as an educator.
