Mr. Grafe, today marks the anniversary of the killing spree in Winnenden in 2009 on March 11th. Since then they have been calling for the disarmament of marksmen. Why? Most, said to be over a million, are peaceful.
I would like to believe that too. But one murderer is enough for a murder. And that's one too many. The right to life of an individual naturally outweighs the right of others to fun and sport. Incidentally, in Germany only about 350,000 marksmen shoot with sharp weapons. The others use air guns or light point devices. The risk of deadly sporting weapons is unmanageable. That's why we call for a ban on these weapons, regardless of their caliber.
