The President of the United States, Joe Biden, and his wife Jill had to be evacuated this Saturday by the Secret Service from their home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, after detecting the entry of a private plane into restricted space, apparently by accident.

«A private plane has entered the restricted airspace, everything indicates that by mistake. Precautionary measures have been adopted, ”explained a White House spokesman quoted by the Politico portal. "There has been no threat to the president or his family," he added.

A Secret Service spokesman, Anthony Guglielmi, explained that the incident occurred before 1:00 p.m. and that the plane was immediately escorted out of the restricted area.

As soon as this intrusion was detected, the Bidens were transferred to a nearby fire station, the chief of the Rehoboth Beach Fire Station, Chuck Snyder, explained to NBC News.

“Preliminary investigation has revealed that the pilot did not have the correct radio channel, was not following the NOTAMS (Informs Airmen) that has been issued and was not following his published flight plan. The United States Secret Service is going to talk to the pilot », he explained.
