After dinner in a restaurant, a 17-year-old was beaten and robbed by several men. The teenager had eaten with a companion in a restaurant on Kollwitzstrasse in the Prenzlauer Berg district (Berlin-Pankow) on Friday evening, as the Berlin police announced on Saturday. After they had paid, the 17-year-old went to the toilet in the basement. Two men from the next table followed him there and reportedly kicked and beat him. Meanwhile, a woman kept watch in front of the toilet rooms.

The three perpetrators then fled, according to the information, with the teenager's backpack. The 17-year-old stated that he had passed out in the meantime. He was taken to a hospital with facial injuries. The criminal police are investigating.
