A woman in her 40s threw herself in the bayonne's Quai Bergeret on Saturday, May 28, at 2 p.m.

Witnessing the incident, a neighbor jumped in the water to save the woman. Two police officers were also passing by and helped to rescue the woman.

The 40-year-old woman's dog, who had also jumped in the Adour to be with his mistress, was also pulled out of the water. All are safe and sound. The young lady was taken to the Belharra clinic.
