The delegate of the Government in Castilla y León, Virgnia Barcones, has asked the president of the Board, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, to call his vice president, Juan García-Gallardo (Vox) “to order” for a tweet in which he responded to another from the Secretary of State for Equality, Ángel Rodríguez, on the draft bill on abortion with the phrase: «You will have the Junta de Castilla y León in front of you».

Barcones has shown his rejection of the attitude of the number two of the Autonomous Government and has demanded that Mañueco guarantee that the basic state regulations will be complied with in the Community and that "no type of insurgency" will be promoted in this regard.

"I don't know if Mañueco wants to place Castilla y León in the field of disobedience", the delegate asked, who also assured that "we all know what non-compliance with the rules means because we have experienced it in close situations".

In addition, he has considered "worrying" that they want to "use the institutions" for "ideological frameworks" that, from a personal point of view, seem "retrograde and go against women's rights."

Barcones has also suggested to the president of the Board that he consider the consequences of having "idle people" in his government who "only want a framework for confrontation." "The institutions are there to work for the citizen," he concluded.
