Four riders have completed the MotoGP World Champion's first third. They seem to have more points than the rest. Or, rather, the mixture they create with their bikes. Honda is in worse shape than these factories. They are stuck in last place in constructors' classification, with a cloudier future even with Marc Marquez's indefinite suspension. Espargaro stated, "It is evident that Fabio is constantly fighting up front. Pecco made more mistakes but when everything is in order it seems that he's very difficult to beat."
He had it all on Sunday. Bagnaia did also the work of getting rid off the odd ones and took advantage of the ones that he liked, oscillating between nine and tenths of 1.2 seconds. This was enough to manage his own performance and avoid the danger zone. He didn't make the mistake at Le Mans that cost him second place, which made it difficult for him to qualify for the World Championship. Quartararo is the only one who does not fail.
