"There have never been as many as this year": My best friend is the proud owner of a fully grown walnut tree in a suburb of Hamburg and can't keep up with collecting and processing the nuts. To dry, they cover an entire square meter of the hallway in the family home. He and his wife have already filled and stacked more than 20 boxes with the nuts. Everyone who comes to visit gets a full paper bag to take home.
