A 21-year-old man died in a violent clash between two groups in Berlin. As the police and prosecutors announced on Sunday, the victim allegedly suffered at least one stab wound on Saturday and died on the way to the hospital after resuscitation measures were carried out on site by rescue workers who had been alerted.
Another 21-year-old was taken to a clinic with serious injuries and operated on there. "According to reports, there should be no danger to life," the statement said.
According to the police and public prosecutor's office, a group of eight to ten adolescents and young men and another, much larger group met in the Alt-Hohenschönhausen district of Berlin on Saturday evening around 10:15 p.m. on the forecourt of a shopping center on Hauptstrasse. According to the previous investigations and witness interviews, they had arranged to meet to clarify disputes from the recent past.
