The provincial delegate for Education, Culture and Sports, José Gutiérrez, has indicated that the regional Executive's commitment to advancing in the modernization, expansion, accessibility and efficiency of public educational centers "makes the Government of Castilla-La Mancha invest , throughout this course and the next, a total of 789,000 euros, almost 800,000 euros, in the improvement and modernization of educational centers in the Toledo town of Mora».

He has showered him during the visit he has made, together with the delegate of the Board in Toledo, Javier Úbeda, to the CEIP 'Fernando Martín' and 'José Ramón Villa' de Mora. A visit that was also attended by Mayor Emilio Bravo, members of the municipal corporation and those responsible for educational centers.

"We are working so that our province has more modern, more accessible and more efficient centers, in addition to making a notable effort to improve and modernize their sports facilities."

In Mora, 13 actions have been scheduled in the local educational centers, of which eight have already been completed, investments aimed at improving sports facilities that are very well received by the educational community, teachers, students and families.

Of all these actions, the provincial head of Education has highlighted the roof of the sports court of the CEIP 'Fernando Martín', nearing completion, with an investment of more than 190,000 euros. Likewise, other outdoor spaces have also been adapted, specifically the children's playground and the electrical installation has been updated, replacing it with LED. This school has 363 students this year, of which 98 are in Early Childhood Education and the rest in Primary Education.

With regard to the CEIP 'José Ramón Villa', a significant investment has also been made to adapt the interior spaces of the school, with an investment of close to 50,000 euros. In this center 367 students study, of which 120 are in Early Childhood Education and the rest are in Primary.

In the IES 'Peñas Negras' energy efficiency will be improved with actions that range from the adaptation of air conditioning installations, the replacement of exterior carpentry and the installation of photovoltaic panels, all with an estimated budget of more than 233,000 euros.

"These 13 actions that we are carrying out between this academic year and the next one represent an unprecedented investment in the educational centers of Mora", José Gutiérrez concluded.
