In an accident on federal highway 311 near Ehingen (Alb-Donau-Kreis), a 32-year-old driver and an eight-year-old girl died at the scene of the accident. The car collided with a truck on Tuesday.

The passenger of the car and another child suffered serious injuries and had to be taken to hospitals, the police said. The truck driver was also taken to a hospital for an examination. The road was closed in both directions, police said. The course of the accident is still being determined.
