This Saturday, May 14, a different workshop will take place in Ajofrín to enjoy with the senses, it is called "The sounds of the mountains" by Carlos de Hita. This writer, screenwriter and specialist in recording the sounds of nature will take us to the Montes de Toledo from a unique space, the Visigoth prison of Ajofrín. You will be able to listen to nature and discover in the silence all the sounds of the different animals, the wind, the water or the trees.

The enclave chosen to listen to the sounds of nature and enter the mountains is in the courtyard of the Visigoth prison called the strong house, which dates back to the 12th century and is located on Campoamor street.

In order to enjoy this sensory experience, three passes will be offered: 9:30 p.m., 10:15 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. Registrations are in the email puntolimpio@ajofrin.es

This original activity is framed within the month of the environment in Ajofrín.

During this month there will be multiple activities: //www.ajofrin.es/mes-del-medio-ambiente-y-la-ecologia/ aimed at raising awareness of the importance of caring for the environment, its enjoyment and the promotion of a healthier life. Among the proposed actions are exhibitions, awareness-raising excursions through the Montes de Toledo, rubbish disposal day, photography contest, bird release, mountain cover route, esparto grass recovery workshop, climbing and bicycle day and a workshop for macramé planters.

Carlos de Hita is a writer, screenwriter, sound artist, sound technician specialized in the sounds of nature. He is the author of a sound archive with the voices of the Spanish, African, Amazonian and Indian fauna; of traditional activities, as well as the main Iberian and Canarian soundscapes.
