On Monday, a railway employee died in an accident on the railway line between Nuremberg and Regensburg near Parsberg. Another was seriously injured, said the police headquarters in Upper Palatinate. The two men were busy clearing work when they were hit by a single locomotive, a police spokesman said. There was initially no information on the identity of the victims.
