When two cars collided on Friday in the Upper Palatinate Forest, a 75-year-old passenger died and her 80-year-old husband suffered serious injuries. The car with the family turned 180 degrees and came to a stop in the bulge of a bus stop, the police said in the evening. "The family did not need medical care locally." According to the information, the seniors' car threw itself over the bus stop and fell down a slope. The vehicle ended up there with some of its tires ripped off.
