Despite initiated resuscitation attempts, the 13-year-old could not be saved, as a police spokesman said. She died at the scene of the accident on Sterndamm in the Johannisthal district. According to the previous investigations, the child, coming from the direction of Ellernweg, ran across a lane on Sterndamm and then across the green central reservation, where the tram tracks run.
