A woman beat her partner to death and then dismembered her body in Villa Fiorito, Argentina, after the man was denounced for sexual abuse of his biological daughter and stepdaughter.

Daniel Tomás Silvero, 56, had been charged for the first time in 2010 for abuse. However, the case was filed by the agents in charge of crimes against Sexual Integrity. In 2019, Silvero received another complaint against him for sexual assault, this time against the 12-year-old daughter of her last partner, Laura Marcela Campos, 47, who is detained along with her children after having declared guilty of murder.

Campos and his two sons, aged 27 and 21, were arrested last Friday on suspicion of having murdered and dismembered Silvero, whose remains were found in the middle of the street on Thursday morning.

The investigation began last Wednesday morning, after a group of cleaning employees found two mutilated human legs in a street. The remains were found inside a garbage bag and were covered in lime.

The Police then consulted among the reports of missing persons and came up with the name of Silvero, of whom nothing had been heard since June 1. Laura Marcela was the last person to see the victim alive and at first she explained to the Police that she had not returned from work that night. However, the images of a security camera denied her, since she recorded him after 8:00 p.m. that day, arriving at her home in a white car.

The inconsistencies in Campos' account and other evidence led to the arrest of the woman and her two butcher sons, aged 21 and 27. Before the Police, the woman indicated that she beat her partner to death and then dismembered her body and threw the sectioned corpse in different places. According to sources in the case, she, in addition to admitting her guilt, said that it was unbearable to live with Silvero, whom she defined as a violent abuser, and that they could not leave her daughter alone with him.

Following the indications of the suspect, during the afternoon of Friday the victim's head was found in a stream. In addition, other remains were found in the vicinity of that place.
