The musicians of the Orchester Métropolitain (OM) will be out and about a lot this summer, making up for the time lost due to the pandemic over the past two years.
The warm season will be generous in music with, on the menu, a concert at the foot of Mount Royal, on August 2, at 8 p.m., under the direction of chef Yannick Nézet-Séguin. The free event will take place on Côte Placide, along Avenue du Parc, between Avenue Mont-Royal and Avenue des Pins.
OM will also be at the Domaine Forget International Festival, with chef Yannick Nézet-Séguin at the helm, alongside violist Antoine Tamestit. This meeting will take place on July 23, at 8 p.m., under the theme “Romantic epic”.
Finally, at the Festival de Lanaudière, the OM will offer three concerts at the Amphithéâtre Fernand-Lindsay, namely “Rossinimania” on July 31, at 4 p.m., “Epic Wagner” on August 6, at 8 p.m., and “Nézet- Séguin and Grimaud” on August 7, 4 p.m.
