A nine-year-old boy died this Thursday afternoon drowned in a reservoir located outside a golf course in Terrassa (Barcelona), sources close to the case confirmed to Europa Press this Friday.

The Mossos d'Esquadra have opened an investigation and everything indicates that it was an accident, and according to the first reports, the boy bathed with a group of children his age.

Firefighters from the Generalitat and the Mossos d'Esquadra traveled to the scene.
