The Municipal Employment School will have a new edition that on this occasion will intervene in the Santa Bárbara neighborhood, specifically in the improvement of Esparteros street, for which 12 unemployed young people will be hired in order to train them from a theoretical and practical point of view and thus facilitate their insertion in the labor market.

The Municipal Employment School will have a new edition that on this occasion will intervene in the Santa Bárbara neighborhood, specifically in the improvement of Esparteros street, for which 12 unemployed young people will be hired in order to train them from a theoretical and practical point of view and thus facilitate their insertion in the labor market. The bases for this project will be approved this Wednesday in the Local Government Board.

The Councilor for Employment of Toledo, Francisco Rueda, explained that this second edition of the Municipal Employment School has a budget of 200,000 euros through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Integrated Sustainable Urban Development Strategy (Edusi ).

"We will offer a total of 12 training contracts for a duration of six months, during which professional training will alternate with real work," said the mayor.

The project is aimed at young people between 16 and 30 years of age. As stated in the bases, priority will be given to seniority in unemployment, educational level and having participated in employment and training itineraries in the Toledo City Council with positive use. Once the bases have been approved, they can be consulted at www.toledo.es and request one of the places at the district registry offices, at the City Hall itself or at the electronic headquarters.

As for Esparteros street in the Santa Bárbara neighborhood, the mayor has advanced that this intervention aims to revitalize the space to promote local commerce and citizen and cultural coexistence through the remodeling of public space.

The work will involve a new pavement and flooring, in addition to the recovery of the channeling heights of the sanitation network or the installation of pipes to incorporate different lighting and telephone networks underground for the future. Work will also be done on a single platform for the road and sidewalks, and the tree pits, the development of new decorative elements and the installation of new signage will be taken into account.
