The Third Section of the Provincial Court of Alicante has sentenced a man who had sex on several occasions with a minor, who was 16 years old at the time of the events, to seven years and one day in prison for a continued crime of sexual abuse. , and suffers from a mental disability of 55% with mild-moderate mental retardation.

According to the information provided by the Superior Court of Justice of the Valencian Community (TSJCV), the Chamber also imposes a compensation of 10,000 euros on the prisoner for the moral damages suffered by the girl, who has seen her relationship of trust with the adults and has lost freedom of movement, according to the sentence.

The man, 42 years old when he committed the abuse, will not be able to approach less than 300 meters or communicate with the minor for ten years.

The events occurred from the summer to November 2020 when the condemned and injured met and had various sexual encounters, either in the car or at his home, in a municipality in the province of Alicante.

In these appointments the man, who acted with the intention of violating the sexual freedom of the minor, had complete sexual relations with her despite knowing her disability.
