For an unknown reason, a man is said to have died after slipping under a vehicle, Saturday morning, in the Plateau Mont-Royal borough, in Montreal.

The tragic accident occurred around 10:35 a.m., at the intersection of Laurier and Mentana streets. It was a call to 911 that dispatched the police to the scene of the tragedy.

They quickly began resuscitation maneuvers after removing the man from under the vehicle. The victim, a 65-year-old man, was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators went to the scene to clarify the circumstances surrounding the accident. A crime scene was also erected.
