Three people have been injured, one of them in serious condition, after two vehicles collided head-on on the Hondón de las Nieves-Algueña road, in the municipality of the latter town, as reported by the Alicante Provincial Firefighters Consortium.

The firefighters have intervened to free one of the injured who had been trapped in his vehicle and who has subsequently been transferred in the Alpha 09 helicopter to the General Hospital of Alicante due to his seriousness.

For their part, the other two people who were traveling in the other vehicle involved in the accident were also injured, although less seriously.

Firefighters received the notice around 2:00 p.m. Next, a device made up of a headquarters command unit, a various rescue van, a heavy urban bomb, a sergeant, a corporal, five firefighters from the Elda park and the Alpha 09 medical helicopter was deployed.
