A fire broke out this afternoon in an old car workshop under renovation, on Nicolás Usera street. Up to the place have come 10 fire crews from Madrid. The calls have broken the facade and the heat and smoke affect several upper houses.

The Samur has treated a national police officer and a firefighter, intoxicated, and a worker with minor burns on his arm and hand. All three have been discharged from the scene.

Fortunately, none of the residents of the affected flats have had to be rescued. The Municipal Police has agreed to the area, reports Emergencies Madrid.
