A 42-year-old man and his children - a 23-year-old man and a 16-year-old minor - have been arrested for their alleged involvement in the shooting that took place in the middle of the street at the end of May in the Valencian town of Xirivella.

A 42-year-old man and his children - a 23-year-old man and a 16-year-old minor - have been arrested for their alleged involvement in the shooting that took place in the middle of the street at the end of May in the Valencian town of Xirivella.

The arrest took place around half past seven this Tuesday morning in Polinyà de Xúquer and agents from the Special Operational Security Group (GOES) and the Prevention and Reaction Unit (UPR) of the police participated in the operation. National Police, sources from this body have detailed to Europa Press.

The events occurred around 1:30 p.m. on May 27, in broad daylight, when there was a confrontation with firearms between several people.

Due to these facts, these three people have been arrested. It is expected that the parent and the adult son will go to court tomorrow, Wednesday, while the teenager goes to the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office. The police investigation continues its course to fully clarify the reasons for the event.
