The coronavirus pandemic is still present in the Valencian Community, where the mortality caused by Covid-19 has skyrocketed again with another thirty deaths and 6,389 new infections, according to information provided this Friday by the Ministry of Health.

The coronavirus pandemic is still present in the Valencian Community, where the mortality caused by Covid-19 has skyrocketed again with another thirty deaths and 6,389 new infections, according to information provided this Friday by the Ministry of Health.

Valencian hospitals also register a rebound in care pressure and currently have 674 people admitted affected by the coronavirus, 36 of them in the ICU.

All in all, the incidence rate of the coronavirus among people over 60 years of age has decreased this Friday by 20.68 points to stand at 707.94 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the Valencian Community, below the national average of 856, 56 cases, according to the update of the Ministry of Health.

Meanwhile, 30 deaths from coronavirus have been reported in the Valencian Community since the last update, 28 of them in the last seven days and two in April. They are twenty women, between 49 and 95 years old, and 10 men, between 64 and 91 years old. The total number of deaths since the start of the pandemic amounts to 9,345.
