The charge of the L’art pour l’art, i.e. art created for its own sake, to use, without much else, she must be very long like that. Here, there are so many examples that prove the opposite. So much art that is a comment on society and politics. People to phenomena and problems in order to draw attention. The Thought-provoking. For example, currently at the Kunsthaus in Zurich, where Olafur Eliasson's solo exhibition, great, beautiful, but also wise and profound, intellectually and emotionally stimulating art (up to 22.3.).

The exhibition "Potential Worlds 1: Planetary Memories" (what is it with the "1" in the title: see Box at end of text) gathered, for example, Videos and sculptures that trace the impact of Oil extraction on the environment and the culture. Or the climate change.
