It will be one of the world's largest Legolande, which in 2023 will open in the chinese city of Shanghai.

And the price will not be of the smallest: the Whole of the 4.4 billion Danish kroner will be invested in the new amusement park.

According to finance.dk will park in a collaboration between the Lego family pengetank Kirkbi, Merlin Entertainments (as Kirkbi owns 50 percent of) and local chinese forces.

Lego is betting in advance on the chinese market.

"The special thing about this investment is that it is the Restructuring that goes along with Merlin and the local authorities in a very large investment. It is an area with a large population close to the park, and many of them are excited for the Lego products. Therefore, the plan is to build a large park complete with a hotel," says Søren Thorup Sørensen, adm. director of Kirkbi, to finance.dk.

the Park will be located in Jinshan district, southwest of Shanghai.

Here is the entire 55 million people within a radius of two hours of transporting distance. In the whole region live 220 million.

Kirkbi-the director reveals the face of finance.dk, that there are also plans for 'a few parks more' in China, and perhaps also Legolande in a number of other countries.
