Families from Sjælsmark need to move to Avnstrup in the Camps

the Government has decided to move the families from Udrejsecenter Sjælsmark to the Center Avnstrup in the Camps.

Families from Udrejsecenter Sjælsmark must move to the Center Avnstrup in the Lejre Municipality.

It informs the Aliens and the ministry of Integration, in a press release.

Center Avnstrup is today hjemrejsecenter, which charged refused asylum seekers.

From the spring of 2020 it will function only as center for children and families without legal stay in Denmark.

the Solution comes in the wake of a political understanding between the government and the støttepartierne, in november, it was agreed that families with children on the Sjælsmark had offered to move out by april 2020.

We said before the election that there is a need to shield the children something better. What do we do now, say foreigners, integration, Mattias Tesfaye (S) in the press release.

- First and foremost by the future to offer crèche and strengthen the kindergarten and leisure activities, just like the children no more must stay behind a fence. But we must also be honest with each other.

- We will still see kids who have it hard. Not because of today's decision, but in spite of it. How will it be, as long as the parents do not follow the decision of the authorities to go home.

that's not going to stay single in the center.

The residents, who today live in Center Avnstrup, which is not in the target audience for the upcoming udrejsecenter, will be moved to one of the Udlændingestyrelsens other quarters.

It was a report from the Red Cross, which really put the focus on the conditions at the Sjælsmark.

It showed, among other things, that over half of the children have it so bad, that they could get a psychiatric diagnosis.

Earlier in the year caused a great outrage on social media and among the red parties at Christiansborg, to a five-year boy on the Sjælsmark was refused to get cooked broccoli or potatoes in the center's cafeteria.

A rule that the residents may not eat the food in their own rooms, has also received criticism.

The rule changed Tesfaye in the summer, so residents could retrieve the food and eat meals with the family in their rooms.
