By counties, in Alicante 164 centers have chosen the advanced level, that is, 40%, the intermediate level has been chosen by 132 educational centers, 32%, and the basic level corresponds to 119 centers, 28% of the total.
In the regions of Valencia, 374 educational centers have chosen the advanced level, that is, 55%, 226 schools have chosen the intermediate level, 34%, and 73 schools have chosen the basic level, 11% of the total.
Minister Vicent Marzà commented that "we are happy because thanks to the efforts of all of us we are moving towards a more multilingual education than ever, which generates opportunities for all".
"Step by step we leave behind a system of tolls and privileges to undertake that of rights and opportunities. The centers have chosen between maintaining the same programs as now or moving forward and, freely, the majority have decided to take steps forward," he added. .
The application calendar begins the 2017-2018 academic year and will culminate with its implementation in Baccalaureate, in 2023.
In addition to compulsory education, this decree also takes into account the teachings of Vocational Training and Adult Training, which until now were not incorporated into the regulations on multilingualism.
