An early death gilds the memory of the deceased. This is true of any family but is particularly evident in the case of Princess Diana, who died in a car crash in Paris 25 years ago. On this day we are flooded with images that illuminate the angelic nature of our "Queen of Hearts". Sad as the occasion is, we can't help but think back to 1997, when Britain fell into shock after the death of 36-year-old Diana. For days, crowds flocked to Kensington Palace to pay their last respects. The atmosphere was more feverish than respectful because there was an anger behind it that was looking for an outlet.
