Once the day of San Juan is left behind, the 2022 work calendar in Valencia exceeds the halfway point of the year with a new holiday during the summer. In fact, this day will once again be a bridge when it falls on Monday.
According to the resolution published in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana, the next holiday in the 2022 work calendar will be on August 15, when the Assumption of the Virgin is celebrated. It is a non-working, paid and non-recoverable day of a state nature.
Thus, Valencians will be able to extend or start their vacations earlier with a new bridge after enjoying this three-day weekend for the festival of San Juan.
Later, after returning to work and school, there will only be four holidays left before the end of the year 2022. These are Wednesday, October 12 for Hispanic Heritage Day; Tuesday November 1 (All Saints), Tuesday December 6 (Constitution) and Thursday December 8 (Immaculate Conception).
