First of all three endings; regarding Loki, I thought he was dead? well… don’t forget, Loki is a master of magic. He created the illusion of Thor’s hand getting chopped off, he can create an illusion of himself dying as well.
He actually came back as one of the Asgardian guard to report to Odin about his own death to deceive the king of Asgard and Thor before he left to earth to be with Jane Foster.
After that, the second ending showing Lady Sif and Volstagg being led to Taneleer Tivan, The Collector. From his name, we know he is a collector of weird things all over the universe, even a girl, probably the last of her kind as one of his collections.
Taneleer, portrayed by Benicio del Toro greets them “Asgardians, it’s an honor.”
Lady Sif: “You know why we’re here.”
The Collector: “Of course, but if I may ask. Why not keep it secure in your own vault?”
Lady Sif: “The Tesseract is already on Asgard. It is not wise to keep two Infinity Stones so close together.”
The Collector: “That’s very wise.”
Lady Sif then handed the Aether to Taneleer and promised them that it will be safe with him, “I can assure you it will be absolutely safe here in my collection.”
After Lady Sif and Volstagg left the room, The Collector looks at the Aether and smiles, “One down, five to go.”
So we know here that two of six infinity stones have been shown, The Collector will hunt for all six, probably to complete the powerful Infinity Gauntlet for Thanos to fight the Avengers in the Avengers 3.
Final Thor 2 Ending
The last or the third Thor 2 ending; Jane Foster is depressed after Thor went back to Asgard… again, but when she saw the rainbow bridge hitting her frontyard, she knew right away who was coming, and YES… it is Thor.
Thor has finally made earth his home to be with Jane and paves his way to Avengers 2.
The best ending yet… remember the Jotun beast that accidentally transported to earth during the fight scene? yep, it’s back… chasing a flock of birds like a cat, I like this ending… a lot.
